Muslim mosques that are registered non-profits in the state of Michigan are eligible for active membership. Each active member mosque provides two delegates who are a part of the Council’s General Body. The delegates serve as active members for a period of two years. We also have associate member mosques and organizations who are a part of our Council, but they are not considered ‘active’. Thus, the associate members lack voting privileges.
The Council in no way discriminates on race, creed, socio-economic status, or the like. We are an all-inclusive Muslim organization that also partners heavily with members of other faiths.
